Community Guidelines
Last updated: December 31, 2025
Coming to a community when you're struggling takes courage. We want this to be a safe place for everyone, which is why we have a few guidelines.
"A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another." — John 13:34
DayInspire is a Christian community where believers come together to find encouragement, share their experiences, and bear one another's burdens through life's challenges. These Community Guidelines describe behaviors that are and are not allowed on DayInspire. Violations of these guidelines may result in removal of content or loss of access to DayInspire.
A general rule of thumb: If a comment wouldn't be made to someone face to face, then it likely doesn't belong on DayInspire. We're here to lift each other up, not tear each other down. We're all works in progress, saved by grace.
Our Core Guidelines
There are five core guidelines that every user agrees to upon joining DayInspire:
1. Be Respectful and Kind
Every person is made in God's image and has inherent worth and dignity. Treat others on DayInspire the way you want to be treated—the way Christ calls us to treat one another. Strong supportive communities are built on strong, compassionate relationships. Remember that everyone here is going through something—extend grace and understanding.
2. Do Not Judge or Discriminate
"Do not judge, or you too will be judged." — Matthew 7:1. We do not tolerate racism, hateful language, or discrimination of any kind. DayInspire welcomes Christians of all backgrounds and denominations. Discrimination creates an environment of exclusion, intimidation, and fear. No one should feel this way in a community designed for support and healing. Leave judgment to God—our role is to love.
3. Keep Content Appropriate and Supportive
DayInspire is a space for encouragement and support. Keep your contributions constructive and helpful. Content should be:
- Encouraging, supportive, or seeking support
- Free from explicit sexual content or imagery
- Free from graphic violence or disturbing content
- Relevant to the community's purpose of mutual support
4. Protect Privacy
Respect the privacy of yourself and others. For your safety:
- Use a display name rather than your real name
- Do not share personal contact information publicly
- Do not share others' personal information without consent
- Do not screenshot or share private conversations outside the platform
5. Do Not Engage in Harmful Activity
We prohibit any activity that could hurt someone, including but not limited to:
- Harassment, bullying, or intimidation
- Threats of violence or self-harm
- Scams, fraud, or deceptive practices
- Spam or unsolicited commercial content
- Impersonation of others or false identities
- Encouraging illegal activities
Content Standards
What We Encourage
- Sharing your experiences and challenges (as much or as little as you're comfortable with)
- Offering words of encouragement and support to others
- Asking for help when you need it
- Celebrating wins, big and small
- Being authentic and vulnerable (within your comfort level)
- Providing resources that may help others
The Power of Validation
At DayInspire, we emphasize validating rather than advising. Here's the difference:
- "That sounds really hard. It makes sense that you'd feel overwhelmed."
- "I've been there too. You're not alone in this—God sees you, and so do we."
- "Your feelings are completely valid. I'm praying for you."
- "God is close to the brokenhearted. I'm so sorry you're going through this."
- "You just need to pray more about it."
- "Have you thought about seeing a therapist?"
- "What you need to do is..."
- "You should read this Bible verse..." (unless asked)
Why? People in difficult moments often just need to feel heard, not fixed. Unsolicited advice can feel dismissive, even when well-intentioned.
What We Don't Allow
- Public shaming: Whether directly or indirectly targeting another user, public shaming is harmful and has no place in our community.
- Hate speech: Content that promotes hatred against individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or other protected characteristics.
- Explicit content: Sexual content, nudity, or graphic violence.
- Misinformation: Deliberately false information, especially regarding health, safety, or crisis resources.
- Self-promotion: Using the platform primarily to advertise products, services, or other platforms.
- Manipulation: Attempting to manipulate or exploit vulnerable community members.

- For emergencies, call 911
If you see content that suggests someone may be in danger, please report it immediately. Our team monitors for crisis situations and will connect users with appropriate resources.
Reporting Violations
If you see content that violates these guidelines, please report it. We review all reports and take appropriate action, which may include:
- Removing the violating content
- Warning the user
- Temporarily suspending the user's account
- Permanently removing the user from DayInspire
We aim to respond to reports quickly while ensuring fair review of each situation.

Remember
Everything on DayInspire is optional. We're here to help and support you wherever you are in your faith journey. Nothing is required of you—participate as much or as little as feels right. The most important thing is that you feel safe and supported.
"Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." — Galatians 6:2
Thank you for being part of this Christian community. Grace and peace to you.
